Sophomore: I really love this school. It is small, for sure, but that isn't always a bad thing! I've grown up with my class and that has motivated me to be the best I can be. Our school is competitive, and that really helps with pushing yourself to try the hardest that you can, which is not true for some other schools. Our school is also very safe and the staff and administration know us well since it is so small. That ,means that the staff are very understanding and helpful when you ask for help or are going through some trouble. Meridian is also very diverse, and that helps kids grow up with an open mind which helps later in life. Overall, Meridian is a good school. Though it is difficult, the strongest people come out of it.

Gateway College Preparatory School

Freshman: What I like about Gateway college Preparatory School the most is its academics. Unlike slower public schools, Gateway has a stronger curriculum that doesn't keep things boring dor its students. Although there are a few bad teachers, most of the teachers work hard to teach their subject in the easiest way possible. Instead of making you memorize where the points are, they teach you how to connect them which really helps the learning experience. The school is majority white, although there are a lot of mixed races in between. The school has a small population, but they work hard to give every student an option when it comes to clubs or athletics. New facilities are being built as of now and the administration is great when responding to students or parents. Gateway has helped me a lot in getting ready for college and I am glad to be a student here!

Senior: I started my life in granger under a desk hiding from everyone. Yet after I got into high school I was able to open up to everyone. My shell was broken open. The school has gotten better over the many years that I have been here. I can not explain how many of the times I wished to quit, but the school and students pushed me to continue forward. Now I think I can take on the world, and even build my dream home inside a mountain. I plan on making several businesses that will take care of my family even after I am not around.
