Works Here: As a faculty member, I love teaching at Whitefield Academy because of the small class sizes! It has been a joy and privilege to be able to join my teaching with my faith. Instead of having to separate the two, my math classroom can point my students to God and the wonders of His creation! As a parent, I love that each of my children are part of small classrooms. They are known and loved by their teachers. The Whitefield community feels like a family. We also enjoy the quality literature and rich curriculum our children are immersed in each day. Not only are they learning Scripture and hymns, but they are reading Great Books and classics. They are digging deep foundations in math and writing. Not only are they in a school that strives for academic success, our children are in a school that seeks to shape and mold their character as well. Parent: Parent of two students - one current, one just graduated. More than a school: a "community" we've been a part of since Kindergarten. Gotten better each year, and reassuring to see our kids go and leave school happy and enthusiastic every day! Very attentive, creative and engaged faculty and administration. Positive and supportive faith and values based environment. Hard to do everything as a smaller school, but what they do, they do exceptionally well. Small classes lead to a great learning environment, but naturally challenge extracurriculars and athletics. Excellent art and STEM. Interesting diversity from international students. Buildings and grounds are in great shape and constantly being improved. Our graduate will be attending one of the most competitive private HS in the region, and totally ready to go!
