Middle School Student: This school is like most, except for a few notable areas. It has an extensive and large TSA program, as well as a special class called Mustang Productions which is a combination film/media class.
Also, the eighth graders get personal laptops. Next year (2018), the seventh graders will as well, and then the year after, so will the sixth years.
The biggest drawback is lack of teachers. Class sizes are ok. But due to the lack of willing teachers in Oklahoma , schools struggle to attract teachers. Thus Cheyenne has a large amount of average-subpar teachers- the bottom of the barrel. Don't get me wrong, there are some FANTASTIC teachers (Mrs. Macrory comes to mind) but there are a lot of second-stringers. Some are brand new- and I don't mean out of college.
There are people who have never taught a day in their life who were roped in at the last second this year. Only a few teachers are truly bad, and only a few great. Most are average- very average, indeed.... Read 4 reviews
