Mater Dei High School
- Private School
- Santa Ana, CA
Senior: Mater Dei is a very good school. Academically speaking, Mater Dei is very challenging, however it ensures that its students are prepared to tackle college courses. Teachers are always willing to help students with any issues that may arise. Mater Dei offers a variety of clubs and extracurricular activities and these are a must if you want to have a social life. Diversity is not lacking at Mater Dei. My only complaint is the food. There a many options however none of which are actually healthy. And what is somewhat healthy, is obviously expensive. The best thing about Mater Dei is probably the support and help you get from teachers and counselors, especially when applying to college. They really want you to succeed so they will help you in any way they can.

Alum: I attended rolling Hills middle school for four years and there wasn’t one year that I didn’t like. My favorite teacher, my core teacher, in fifth grade is Mr. Burbank. He was such a cool guys and he always knew how to make people laugh and have fun. I also took part in the band program. It was such a cool experience to learn a instrument and I’ll never forget it.
