Freshman: I have been at Compass Academy Charter School ever since kindergarten! Obviously, it being a new school, things were pretty rough and a bit disorganized, but as the years went on the school administration figured things out. Overall it is a pretty great school, there are still quite a few things that need to be sorted out, but I know they will get their things together quickly as they always have.

Senior: They care for each student independently.
Need to change dress code, it's ridiculous.
Would like to see more teachers though, like a choice for extra classes; so students can explore more.

Forsan High School
#5 Best Public Middle Schools in Midland Odessa Area
- Forsan Independent School District, TX

Junior: Like every other school, they have perks and flaws. What i mostly experienced in that school was the academics. That school is rank in one of the best academic schools in the region, so I guess is a good school. Except for some of the people. Students there were rude and unfriendly, but thank goodness I met some of the greatest people there. Another thing is the diversity. There's not a lot of color people there. Take me for example, students asked me if i was an exchange student, but that's not their fault, is the fault for not having a community of mixed races.

Utpb STEM Academy
#6 Best Public Middle Schools in Midland Odessa Area
- Public School
- ODESSA, TX
- Rating 4.11 out of 5 9 reviews
Junior: I have been a student of the UTPB STEM Academy since 6th grade, and I am currently in 11th grade. The reason I give this school five stars is that the environment they have you in is amiable. Our classes are small enough so that the teacher can connect to everyone in the classroom and has a chance to help someone who may need it. All the staff at this school is amiable, and it seems like everyone knows everyone. Currently, we have UIL competitions such as Number Sense, FTC Robotics, and so many more. The courses that we are taking help us prepare for whatever field we plan to go into. They have engineering, biomedical, and computer science classes, and they are even setting us up with internships around the city. The only downside to this school is we have no sports available for the students and we have no cafeteria to serve food. We either bring food or we order food from providers such as Chick-Fil-A or the Elegante Hotel

Junior: I am currently enrolled in TLCA as a junior. I have attended this school since the third grade, and I have enjoyed my years here at TLCA. the environment and school spirit is terrific and I feel that the teachers and staff dedicate lots of time to their students, therefore better preparing them for what’s to come after high school.

Alum: Ector Junior high has a rigorous advanced placement courses with diligent, supportive teachers. My overall experience at Ector Junior high was a good one. I had amazing teachers and I also had access to indoor and outdoor facilities such as a track and an indoor pool. I also had a access to a library with many resources in itself. The extra curriculum is also very extensive, it ranges from piano and harp through taekwondo and swimming. Overall the administration is good.
