Junior: I love Atlanta Classical Academy! The teachers are amazing and the school really prepares you for college. However, If you decide to send your child to this school, make sure they TRULY understand how to study.
The downfall of many new students at ACA is that when they enter the school (freshman year for ex.) they tend to expect that the grading system and the rigour of work will be the same as their previous school. I would say in order to do well at ACA you must study hard because the curriculum can be intense at times.
One critique I would give the school is that the staff is not diverse. As a POC at ACA, having teachers who look like you and can relate to racial problems that may occur at school is very important. However, I believe ACA is currently hiring a more diverse staff for the upcoming school years.
