Parent: I have two sons that attend PSCA. While some consider the work "rigorous" my wife and I feel our boys are being pushed right to where they need to be. No more, that is neither feels "behind" and no less, that is, neither feels "bored". The teachers and students come from diverse backgrounds and are all very supportive. the parents are great too, except in the drop off/pick up line... But it beats 45 minutes on the bus.... High School Sophomore: I loved this school! Even though there were uniforms, I still loved it! The fact that this school is small makes it feel like everyone is family! Everyone knows each other really well. The academics were rigorous as well the moral conducts. Parent: I have 3 very different boys that have all thrived at Brownell. Quite frankly I was worried it couldn't possibly live up to my boys' expectations for middle school - I mean it is middle school. But I was wrong. The teaching and support staff are amazing. Parent: I heard of NHA schools way before my child was ready for school. I applied to 3 different schools hoping to get him in. I was so pleased that he did get accepted to CCA. At CCA each child gets the help they need to succeed in each grade level. I love that CCA retains teachers.Parents are welcome to walk into the school to drop off their kids in their classroom. Freshman: At the current moment I’m a freshman with my home school in P-CEP (Plymouth-Canton Educational Park) being Canton. For this campus having almost 7,000 people in total it does a really good job keeping up with the chaos some inconsiderate students can cause. Not only that, but the diversity here is unbelievable; I used to go to a school in Livonia and it didn’t have nearly a third of what P-CEP, including Canton, has. Plus all of the teachers I’ve had so far have been absolutely amazing and very understanding! They also have a larger variety of electives than I thought possible in a high school, including their own radio station. Junior: If you want to go to school in a diverse environment, Salem High School is the school for you. Counselors are extremely involved and are always willing to help guide students in the direction towards success. Students at this school get the luxury to meet students from both Plymouth and Canton High School as they intertwine during passing time. The variety of classes offered are extraordinary and fit almost every career field a student may be interested in. Teachers are always able to help and offer meetings during lunch or after school. Junior: The size of the school, around 6,000 students, really allows for a vast amount of opportunities throughout high school. There are countless clubs, sports, and extracurriculars available to join. The strongest thing academically about PCEP is definitely the academies. I'm part of the IB program, which provides an amazing opportunity for rigorous coursework. There's also the STEM program for students interested in math, engineering, or med. Parent: My 2 kids are different types of students. With this school & our family working as a team they both get what they need. The communication is wonderful at Keystone. In order for things to be good for all parties involved communication is key! I am also grateful for their ability to listen & act. They love feedback! It’s a good community. Freshman: I have had a wonderful time these couple of years at Patrick Henry. There are definitely some things that the school could improve on, such as offering more clubs and resources for students. Racism and bullying can be a problem at times, and there definitely needs to be something done about this, which I and other students are working on. They could also definitely enforce the no bullying-policy and other rules a bit more, as the school can get a little unruly and "gossipy" at times. It would also be nice if there were a little bot more love for the arts here at Patrick Henry However, as a whole, I think this is an amazing place to grow and learn.
