Middle School Student: Little Falls school number one is a great learning environment. I wish my own kids to grow up in a school as wonderful as this one. One thing I request is that the teachers pay more attention to the children. I also request more tests/projects for each class, so if you fail one, the rest will not be too influenced.... Alum: The teachers are great throughout all of the grades although some are better than others. The staff really care about the students are are very involved in everyday tasks. The one problem would be councilors. There is one councilor for the entire 500 student body. There needs to be more councilors to help students. Often times a student wouldn’t be able to get the help they need since the counselors schedule was full. The councilor also needs to do more outside of their office besides doing assembles.... Middle School Student: I am currently a 7th grader at School 28 and have been a student since 4th grade. Me being at the same school with most of the same classmates for that long makes me so sad that I have to leave it after 8th grade. I've made some great memories there and have friends that I consider family. Our whole class is basically one big family. School 28 is a school for "gifted" kids so our school obviously has pretty good academics and you need to have good grades every year, but it's pretty easy if you do your work and pay attention. However, you will probably be behind in history once you go to high school because our social studies teacher is really bad at her job and barely teaches us basic history. We also have a Science Olympiad team, National Junior Honors Society, and a National History Day competition as well. However, my experience might not be like yours but I definitely recommend you to go to School 28.... Read 5 reviews

Niche User: What I liked about Passaic Academy for Science & Engineering is how they really value and care for students education and life beyond just high school. The school's preparation and structure for students within the school year and after gives them an advantage like no other. For example, the school offers students a program, in which they are able to get their associates degree while being in high school. So not only are you graduating with a high school diploma you are also graduating with an associates degree. Middle School Student: My experience at Macopin Middle School has overall been great. It's really been great. The teachers here are amazing and really sweet, and the fact that they encourage to donate to people in need, doing charities, this cannot go unnoticed. The students here are always academically active and fit, and the school holds a positive atmosphere for the school and staff. Going back to the students, they're always engaged. They have gotten many rewards for doing the right things and finishing all required academic assessments on time. Sophomore: I enjoy Passaic Arts and Science Charter School because I am offered many opportunities. At my school I have boosted my self-esteem when it comes believing myself and seeing a successful future. Also this school has many opportunities this past year I was involved in a trip to Haiti in which we fundraised and visited many 2 orphanages. One change I would say would be the absurd rules. Many rules are intended for foolish things. I believe there is no need for so many unnecessary rules especially if the students are following up with their work and behaving correctly.... Alum: Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology is the best school in the district. Although there is not a large variety of clubs and activity, there is fair amount of sports. The staff members are wonderful and the teachers you push to do your best. Students are provided with a extrema period a day for extra help whenever needed. Students who do not need help and have good grade are given that extra period to play around in the gymnasium. Overall, PCSST is a great school, but there are certain areas that can be improved....
