Adaline E. Kent Middle School
#3 Best Public Middle Schools in Marin County
- Kentfield Elementary School District, CA
Sophomore: I absolutely love this school. I graduated a few years ago. I have met my best friends here. The academics are excellent, but not stressful. The teachers really care and want you to do well. The downside of this school is that if you have bad people in your grade you are basically screwed because you will be miserable, but I lucked out and I loved my grade.

Del Mar Middle School
#4 Best Public Middle Schools in Marin County
- Reed Union Elementary School District, CA
Alum: I went here for middle school and it definitely was great academically. All students are rented their own laptop and there are lots of other great amenities at the school. An emphasis on leadership, public speaking, and technology use are the main academic emphasis here. With the student body being so small and homogeneous, one quickly finds out what they will have to implement in themselves to fit in. Not as strict as other middle schools, but then again kids here act like kids, not kids pretending to be. Drugs, tobacco, alcohol were not present at all.

- Shoreline Unified School District, CA
High School Senior: The teachers are amazing, they are willing to listen to students in and out of the classroom. Students are all very involved and care for on another. This school was honestly a hate free zone. Everyone got along well and no one was ever isolated. Given that it is a small school, everyone is very united.

High School Senior: I had a great time at Davidson Middle School. My parents and teachers always kept me motivated to be the best student I could be. I never felt like I had no one to talk to because most of the teachers are very welcoming and understanding.
