Parent: Loudoun Country Day School's program for PK-8 children is superb! My three children graduated some years ago and they were completely prepared for the next steps in their educational development. Parent: I cannot say enough good things about the experience my children have had at SJNCS. Even though our daughter encountered disciplinary action (which she very much earned) early in her experience there--for behavior at which nobody would have batted an eyelash had she been in public school--we are thrilled with the environment, the academics, and the administration at SJNCS. The teachers and administration are engaged with the students as well as the families. The academic instruction my kids are receiving is excellent, especially compared with the instruction they received at our local public school. I cannot recommend SJNCS highly enough.... Parent: Pinecrest is an absolutely amazing school! We are in our third year and are so happy to be part of such a wonderful school community. The love of learning and joy is seen everyday in the interactions the Head of School, staff, teachers, and enrichment teachers have with students and parents. We truly appreciate that each child is valued for his/her individuality and are supported academically, socially, and emotionally. DEIB is a core value of Pinecrest and all are welcome and celebrated. Class sizes are small and intimate. We appreciate the flexibility offered in learning with classes often held outside and focuses in the areas of STEAM, music, and project based learning. The teachers know every student, not just the ones in his/her classes. Individual class teachers are easy to communicate with and very responsive to parents and students.  Communication from the Head of School is excellent, detailed, and consistent.  Importantly, our child is thriving!
