Middle School Student: The school’s curricular is amazing. They teach ahead of the schools years and there sports are amazing. Woodlawn has its own track and field, which is one of they only schools with one in its area. Woodlawn middle school has a lot of different activities that anybody is able to join. The only thing that is not amazing is there teachers. Most of Woodlawns teachers are super nice and care about you, but there are definitely some that are rude, and don’t know how to teach.... Middle School Student: When I was younger I attended Twin Groves Middle School, and I am glad I had the opportunity to do so. It was probably one of the best middle schools I have ever gone to. Not only were the teachers, staff, and the school itself highly organized, but they also provided exceptional education for the students. A large variety of classes to train you and bring you knowledge are available in the considerably advanced facility, not to mention it is all done through high quality Apple computers. Lastly, in my opinion, the fitness education was phenomenal. I made multiple friends when playing basketball, running or even practicing sports I had never been introduced to in my entire life. Overall, I would undoubtedly recommend Twin Groves Middle School for any young student that wants to learn, have fun and most importantly: grow as a human being.... Read 1 review

Parent: My 3 children received a phenomenal education at Rondout! It's a K-8 School with an amazing staff and community. The student to teacher ratio allows for truly differentiated and individualized instruction for all students. The school has a strong community and family feel. Each child is treated as an individual and has his or her own learning plan. My children are doing great things at Libertyville High School because they received such a strong foundation at Rondout. The small classes really help the kids socially and the typical pressures of middle school are absent at Rondout . I can't recommend it enough!... Read 5 reviews

Parent: DPM West has provided my children with an outstanding education and has effectively prepared them to succeed in high school. The District continues to provide incredible programming, curriculum, and facilities. The new Makerspace, Haskins Center (library), classroom lighting, furniture, and entry vestibules show their commitment to student safety, STEM learning, and keeping students engaged throughout the day. The project-based curriculum also helps prepare my children for high school and beyond by teaching them how to work in groups, collaborate, ask insightful questions, and learn how to figure out solutions vs. just answers. DPM West isn't very diverse, but the school goes to great lengths to expose the students to diverse perspectives and ideas. One of the District's key objectives is to hire and retain great teachers and they definitely do that! Middle School Student: I love Aptakisic! It’s such a nice, environmental friendly school. The staff there are so kind and very respectful. I am a student there and I am telling you that they don’t stress us or anything, but they are very strict about discipline, which if you think about it, it’s a good thing! Middle School Student: There are some outstanding teachers and some less-than-outstanding ones. I made lasting friends. The school is not very diverse, a downside. There is the pleasant feeling of school spirit that creeps up on you every once in a while, but that spirit can falter at times. Niche User: Fremont Middle school is the best school i have ever went to. The school has a elementary, intermediate, and a middle school. The teachers are kind, and the students there are very nice. Middle School Student: Overall I liked my experience at Highland Middle School. At that school there was many clubs and activities to get involved in. The teachers were all very welcoming and helpful. One thing I liked was student assistance on Friday mornings, where students were allowed into the school early to get help on anything. Throughout my years at HMS, I have met my best friends. I have become very close with a group, however the school's schedule and activities allows myself to become friends with many others outside of my friend group. However, one thing I would change is the gym uniforms. Although I know these are uniforms, many students complain about them. I think we should be allowed to wear whatever type of pants or shorts we want, then just wear the uniform shirt. Parent: Nice school with good staff members. They have a good community at this school with numerous activities. Only negative is the front office. The secretary Janelli wasn't very helpful or friendly. She didn't greet me or smile, and had an overall poor attitude. I believe the staff in the office set the example for the school (as they are the first face that visitors see), and I didn't feel very welcome by her.
