Parent: The curriculum is strong, with students working above grade level in many subjects. Teachers set high expectations and then help each child achieve those goals in a warm and nurturing environment. Each day students’ folders are filled with the work that they have completed so that parents can be informed of their child’s progress. Any obstacles are handled at early stages and the child is treated with the utmost respect every step of the way. The emphasis on STEAM is helping to prepare students for a successful future. Every member of the staff knows each kid--not only their names, but their individual personalities. Additional benefits of ACE include smaller class sizes, character development, a uniform that minimizes drama in the mornings, responsive staff, and an exceptional facility. Senior: I am a graduating senior in the class of 2023, and I have gone to Briarcrest for 14 years. The biggest resource that a student gains by attending Briarcrest Christian High School is the faculty. The teachers and administration at this school have roots that run deep throughout the building, curriculum, and student relationships. All of the teachers truly care about the student, and I will forever cherish the relationships that I have with my high school teachers. Outside of the faculty relationships, I find that Briarcrest has a diverse and wide-selection of extracurricular opportunities for its student body. Parent: There are so many aspects of Bullis that we love and it is hard to fit them all in one review! We have 3 children at the school who are very different learners, different personalities and different interests. Yet each is thriving at Bullis and the teachers meet each of their needs. We love that school is joyful and fun. Our kids WANT to go to school and have fun learning. They get a great balance of academics, arts, athletics, STEM, etc. It is a nice community of parents and friends who watch out for each other and help each other.
