Ellensburg High School
#126 Best Public High Schools in Washington
- Ellensburg School District, WA
- 189 reviews
Freshman: Ellensburg High School is amazing for such a small town. The teachers are kind and genuinely care, and are often more than willing to talk to you after class. The offering of AP, College in the High School, and Honors classes is plentiful, and helps prepare students for college or whatever they plan to do. The building is beautiful, but slightly small for the growing population. However, the grounds are beautifully maintained, and the athletics facilities are as well.
There are over 20 clubs, official and unofficial, such as Gay-Straight Alliance, FFA, FBLA, DECA, Key Club, Marine Biology Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Environmental Club, Orchestra, Band, Choir, and many more for students to join that participate in activities yearly.
Ellensburg High School is a good school for such a small town, and I feel lucky to go there.

Kittitas High School
- Kittitas School District, WA
- 27 reviews
Sophomore: Kittitas High School overall is a very good school. The students are fairly good to each other, the teachers seem to genuinely care for students, and the small school environment leads to intimate teaching methods that benefit students tremendously.
However, there is not much opportunity at Kittitas. There is no advanced placement courses and the selection of sports and extracurriculars is very small.

Cle Elum Roslyn High School
- Cle Elum-Roslyn School District, WA
- 63 reviews
Senior: I have really enjoyed my time at Cle Elum Roslyn High School. Because of the small size, there is a lot of one on one time available with teachers. Sometimes being so small, the school does not receive the same opportunities as larger schools, but I think it was a great place to grow up.
