Senior: I've attended Silverton High School for all four years of my high school career, and i'd say its been a very good school. Some of the cons is the being I feel the counselors don't quite cooperate as well as they should. In addition, some students there can be very ignorant. Apart from that its a great school. Some to the school would be the teachers most the teachers are extremely friendly and take you under their wing, I always considered them like my second set of parents!

Senior: John K Kennedy High School is very with just under 300 students .This being said we have a very tight nit community. All of the staff at John F. Kennedy are amazing. They want every student to succeed and they will do anything they can do to help them do so. Athletics are Kennedy are through the roof. I have been so blessed to have the coaches and teammates that I have. Just in girl sports the past four years we have won three state championships. That is just incredible if you ask me. We could not have done it without our supportive community and most importantly our parents. I have never been anywhere with more uplifting parents. Before every game, does not matter what sport, we have a meal ready for us thanks to our hard working parents. Leaving this outstanding school district and small community is definitely going to be challenging but I could not be more excited to see what my future holds.

Gervais High School

Junior: I have been attending Gervais High School for almost three years now and something I can say I love about this school is their devotion to their students. Gervais High School is a small community of at most 300 students, going to a school this small benefits us students by getting more one on one time with teachers. Also, here at GHS we have an after school program called Academic Recovery, which is where students can come into the library from 3:15pm to 4:15pm for extra academic assistance or just to have a quiet space to work.
Despite all the great academic assistance at GHS, there is always room for change. Something I would like to see change is for the administration to add more advanced placement courses and college readiness classes. We currently have no AP classes or honors classes available for students to take. Students need to be given the opportunity to push themselves with these more advanced classes especially if they feel like the regular classes are a breeze.
