Alum: I’ve spent my 4 entire high school years at Page High School. I’ve spent 3 of it in honors classes, where I have enjoyed it. The classes were challenging. I feel that the school culture was decent, the student body does their best to conjure up events for students. I feel that there’s a lack of clubs that I’ve found interesting but in senior year there were some more interesting clubs. The teachers I’ve had were great, they were all unique and did their best to keep the class invigorating. I feel that the school thrives on the CTE courses, where’s there’s a lot of them that are good. But high school is how you make it out to be, so this may be the best high school you went to, or the worst. Your decision

Alum: I liked that this is a small school and the teachers know who I am, know my family situation, and are willing to help me be successful. Most of the teachers and staff have known me most of my life and have watched me grow up. They are supportive and encouraged me to dream big and tried to help me reach my potential.
The one thing that I would like to see change is more funding into the school that would benefit the students learning. Resources are sometimes limited, so this makes it hard for the school to offer a wide variety of programs. For example there was a student in my class very interested in robotics or our culinary class has first and second year students in the same class, however because funding is limited the classes are not offered or are combined. I believe that if funding were available to offer some of these small interested courses to small groups of students it would help students learn what they really like before they get to college.

Sophomore: I am now entering my second year at Tuba City High School. During my Freshman year, I had a really great experience with this school. I loved all of my teachers because they were competent, knowledgeable, and understanding. They were also very helpful and supportive whenever I was having difficulties understanding a topic. Unfortunately, the school does have very many STEM classes available to students. Currently, the school does not offer robotics, computer science, forensics, or even physics. Despite that, the math and science classes that are available are great and I have enjoyed the courses that I have taken and am currently taken. Although I wish it provided more opportunities to students, such as duel enrollment or college counseling, I would say that this is a pretty nice school and I am thankful for what I have here.
