Senior: Attending this school has been such a great experience. The school is in a beautiful area with lots of people to reach to for help in school and mental help. Very united as a community. The academics are okay, the teachers are very supportive though! AP classes are offered as well as college enrollment. The small school atmosphere is great.

Sophomore: Although CCHS is working on improvements, it has room to grow with academic standards, and in implementing respect. The kids often back talk teachers, and can be a difficult environment. There are certain teachers that stand out however in their dedication, and that is always fun to see. The musical department is amazing! Lunches are gaining in good food too. At graduation there is not a validvictorian, just graduating with honors. This school was one I had to adjust to, but after a couple years you’re grateful for the education and opportunities as well.

Senior: If what you are looking for is a small school with big opportunities, Florence High School is the place to be.
The school offers the typical sports programs, including football, basketball, and more. The school also offers a competitive marching band, cheer team and more.
Florence is also fantastic in it’s size. FHS hasn’t had more than 400 students in years. Florence’s small size also means that students, get more time with teachers who actually care about their jobs.
Although Florence High School has many positives going for it, it is also important to talk about what hinders it.
As a student I feel that administration cares only about the scores we get rather than the enjoyment we could get from school.
Florence High School is a great place to be if what you’re looking for is a small size, big opportunities, and many fun programs to be part of. It does have it’s downfalls but overall, the goods out weigh the bads.
