Senior: I have had some amazing teachers at Yuma High School that have taught me so much and been more than willing to help me with anything outside of school. There have been some teachers that are not quite as helpful, but for the most part, the staff is great. The building is quite old, and the heating and cooling system is not good, but the school board is hoping to renovate soon. The school puts a lot of pride into athletic programs, maybe too much, on occasion. Also, there is the opportunity for work studies, which is really helpful for many students.

Senior: I like the blended mix of Hispanic and American people. They teach to kids how to no be racist. They have great food when you walk to the cafeteria, clean floors and respectful people. Try the lasagna, its to die for.

Senior: My past four years at Wray High School have been amazing, getting better and better every year. Starting off my freshman year was difficult, the school is very cliquey; so making friends was a challenge.Eventually I joined a group and we have stayed friends throughout all of high school. Whether it be school activities or unregulated mischief, my class has always stayed light hearted through every hardship and misfortune. One thing I have always had a problem with is the academics of my school. Not that they are overly difficult, but the opposite, they are too easy on the students. My classmates and I are not challenged enough by many of our teachers and are, on average, falling considerably behind the students of other schools. In short, Wray High School is an exciting and close-knit school with a lack of academic rigor. There is plenty of room for improvement, but all in all it my time at Wray High School has been a memorable experience.

Parent: It is a great school and provides opportunities for all student's interests. It is a small enough environment that students are not just a number. The school works hard to provide new technology to the students. The students are encouraged to explore classes that are interests in potential career choices.
