Senior: I have been going to Flatonia ISD for basically all my life. I’m currently a senior and although there are a few things I would change, it’s a great school with an amazing staff. They help students individually, which is what I see other schools lack.

Senior: Being able to take dual-credit classes with Blinn College at a separate campus was nice! Providing us with local scholarship information was also helpful. Teachers are awesome all around!

Junior: I like how Fayetteville staff members are all about there students. The staff makes sure that we get the best learning throughout K-12. I am so proud that our school hands out laptops to 6-12 kids, so we do work at home and school. with that being said we don't use paper so Fayetteville ISD is saving a lot of trees. It might seem the staff is awesome or the students but our school has a poor library building. it leaks when it rains, animals live in the ceiling tiles, and the teacher lunchroom is in there too. Fayetteville ISD might be same but I think we should have a great library and a different place where the teachers eat.

Alum: The school is amazing, especially the math program. Being a graduate of the class of 2020, my senior year was a roller coaster. In this school though, I was given the opportunity to make connections with other students, fall in love with soccer, and have real life conversations with the teachers and faculty. I will never be able to express my gratitude for this school district and all it has done for me. The teachers are so much more than teachers. They truly care about their students and their well-being. Of course, their classes won’t be easy, but it’s to give students a taste of real life. I definitely recommend attending this high school and I wish I could relive my high school years all over again, the same way, with the same students, teachers, and faculty members. They have given me the strength to follow my heart and chase after my dreams.

Schulenburg Secondary School

Senior: My overall experience at Schulenburg Secondary, as a senior, has been good. It is a friendly environment for those who are looking for a small town school to go to. The Ag department is great overall as students are going to state which honestly is the field where this school advances on besides sports. Some changes that could be taken into consideration would be having more extra-curricular activities for those students who want to explore more of who they truly are. In my opinion it would be better if there were a variety of other activities so students could be more involved and get the idea of what they would like to pursue later on. Teachers hassle on seniors to do something great in life, to pursue something they are passionate about, something great. If something that could change if I were to be starting school, I would've liked that there were more extra-curricular activities that I know I would've enjoyed and advanced on.

Sophomore: Round Top- Carmine High School is a very little school. We all know each other and the different grades take care of each other. The atmosphere is upbeat and we don't have all the other distractions and violence as the bigger schools do. We are all very competitive, however we strive to make everyone do their best.
