Freshman: At West High, you are constantly bombarded with new and exciting challenges in every class. You are also surrounded by teachers who care about not just your grades, but you as an individual. The students at West are very friendly, social, and trustworthy; they are willing to listen to you about your problems and will help you get through tough times. On top of it all, West provides MANY club opportunities and sports groups to join! We have over eighty students in our band program alone, not to mention our Biomedical, Engineering, Aerospace, Agriculture, and Computer Science classes. Overall, I feel that West can provide for me academically, as well as make me proud of where I studied as a teenager.

Axtell High School

High School Senior: My overall experience at Axtell High School so for has been phenomenal. The teachers and staffs main focus is the educational growth in every student, the student body is abundant with the most loving and intellectually gifted young men and women in the state of Texas and the athletics program is beyond any "average" standard for any small school. One of my favorite experiences is working with the community in Axtell and witnessing the shear dedication and enthusiasm both the students and the public share alike. Axtell is a unique school due to the fact it is so intertwined with the community that the school its self feels like one giant family. I would most definitely choose this astounding school if I were to do my whole high school experience once again.
