Alum: I really enjoyed attending Holland High School. The teachers are great, and there is an authentic sense of community. I enjoyed my four year High School experience here, and I will never forget it.

Academy High School

Senior: My first few years at Academy High School were very enjoyable; it was my senior year that things began to change. The summer between my junior and senior years (2019) much of the administration either retired, quit, or moved schools, which left quite the mess to deal with. Things are smoothing out now, but some of the new policies need work. Most teachers were dedicated and put in the time to teach class, but others were sub par. UIL academics were structured nicely, but other organizations like Leo Club, NHS and GT struggled. The experience was good, but as with all things, improvements can be made.

Salado High School

Senior: Considering that I've only gone to Salado since I was young I like it very much overall. The students get passionate about football season and participate in red week, pink week, or any other fun spirit things. The teachers also do a splendid job of making a one-on-one connection with the students in order to give us a higher education. Our academics is competitive and students do their best in order to achieve the best results. The one thing I wish Salado did better is to do events that got the students to know each other and not just kids that we've grown up with. Every school has their cliques but Salado doesn't do the best job at welcoming new students, and that's not the teachers fault, its the students.
