Temple High School
#762 Best Public High Schools in Texas

Senior: Temple's diverse student body combined with its International Baccalaureate (IB) program makes it a unique and valuable experience. The top tier of academic students emerge with a compassionate and thorough understanding of current events and history, undisturbed by the conservative bias of the Texas legislature and education system. The students do tend to attend either A&M or UT afterwards, because the school does not have strong post-secondary advising. In terms of school spirit and tradition, you could not find a better football game to attend on Friday nights, and the other sports, while less attended, will be fun and thoroughly supported financially.

Senior: Up until this year, well this ending to this year, I have enjoyed Troy High School. It is a small town school and the teachers care about you. I can always email or when school was in go to them for any questions or just in general. We don't have all the sports and extracurricular opportunities that huge schools have, but we are closer and I think that has prepared me for college probably better than a large school would. Troy offers general, Honors, AP, and Duel credit classes. So there is everything you need academically to be successful.
