Alum: I enjoyed my High School education at Kennard High School because this school is in a small east Texas town where everyone knows everyone. My graduating class was fifteen students and we were all closely bonded like family. In addition to attending a smaller school, we were able to get more assistance when needed from our teachers because they had fewer students to tend to. My grandfather also attended the same High School years ago. I believe that this school helped to mold and develop me into the driven woman I am today.

High School Junior: Each year students are allowed to choose what classes they want to take: AP classes, college classes, your average classes and of course, electives.
I am a definite teacher's pet, and I find it super helpful if you are a good student that they will be 100% willing to help you with anything. I feel that many students don't take AP courses as seriously as they should and are in there just because they "want to boost their GPA because of AP" The AP classes need to be more selective of their students and should be smaller.
There are business information classes and Law Enforcement classes that can be used as college credit for students, and everyone takes advantage of that opprotunity.

Alum: Small school, but the teachers care about you and your achievements. Not a lot of opportunities if you want to pursue an athletic career, but the bond you create with people at this small school is not like others. The teachers want you to succeed and have a future.
