Wolfe City High School
#473 Best Public High Schools in Texas
- Wolfe City Independent School District, TX
- 43 reviews
Senior: Wolfe City High School is a small, everybody knows everybody type of school. They are very efficient in teaching us about college, bringing people in certain fields to present what their job is, and in sending us new scholarships every week. Dual credit classes are also offered at this school letting any student who desires to get a head-start on college do so. However, as a senior I am ready to get far away from this school, much like every senior at any school is. Most of the teachers are very helpful when it comes to college readiness. Before a student can even finish the sentence, "I need help on finding out about this college," four teachers have already found tuition costs, pros and cons, and even how much the application fee is. Wolfe City High School will always have a place in my heart, but a new beginning in college is calling my name. With the help of this school I know that I can and will get through college.

Senior: School life at North Hopkins has treated me well. I have went here my whole life so I know just about everyone which means I'm pretty close with coaches and teachers. I would like to see the school get more technologically advanced. The Graphic design and Photoshop classes should be more available.

Cooper High School

Senior: I moved here my at the beginning on my junior year, and the staff was very welcoming and helped tremendously with my transition. I came from a 5a school so it was very different, with this school being a 3a. I would overall say I like the small school feel better. The students here are semi-welcoming. It took a few weeks to gain some friends because not everyone is accepting of a new student. The administration staff seems to always be busy, and therefore not able to help with my problems.

Senior: My experience was amazing, I made so many friends with students and with teachers. It’s a very friendly environment. I like how every school event was organized and many had tons of school spirit! One thing I would want to change about the school is the cleanliness of classrooms, bathrooms, and the cafeteria.

Anna High School
- Anna Independent School District, TX
- 114 reviews
Senior: Anna High School is a very fast growing school that is going to continue to grow in diversity and academics in the near future. They offer a large range of extracurricular activities from FFA to Beta club. There is something for everyone in Anna High School. Though I didn't start my public school career in Anna, once I moved here I was accepted with open arms by the faculty and the students alike. I am very grateful for the opportunities that this school district has provided for me and I know that I wouldn't be anywhere near where I am today without my experience here at Anna High School. One thing that I would say to a parent that is considering bringing their child to this school district is that Anna is a place where the teachers work harder than anyone else to ensure that your child succeeds. The faculty here is amazing, and the environment is improving with every day of school. I'm very glad to be able to say that my high school education came from Anna.
