Alum: At Seward High School, they work very hard to ensure you have a positive experience. The curriculum is designed in a way allow for productive struggle within the classroom, while also making certain that no student is denied the right to understanding the lesson. The school itself is well maintained, and the facilities staff work hard to make it a clean and healthy environment.
One thing I would change is the quality of some of the teachers. I understand that everyone has a different teaching style, but it seemed to be the most popular style was teaching just to get paid rather than connecting with the students. In the classroom they seemed somewhat distant, however the administration was spectacular and really made up for that. Overall, Seward High School is a wonderful school to attend, and I would not have wanted to go anywhere else.

Senior: Attending Milford High School has been a fantastic experience! I overall enjoyed high school and I will truly miss it. Milford does an amazing job at creating classes that the students want. The administration is very proficient in listening to students needs and doing anything they can to meet those needs. It's easy to hate on a school that is in such a small town, but I couldn't imagine attending high school anywhere else, nor would I want to. Some things I would like to see change include opening up college classes or AP classes to underclassmen instead of having to wait until senior year. It would give students more experience and preparation for college. Looking back on my high school career, I can honestly say I will miss attending Milford High School but I’m thankful for the time I had there.

Centennial Junior/Senior High School
#102 Best Public High Schools in Nebraska

Senior: I had a great experience at Centennial personally, but I know others did not. The teachers are very friendly but like to pick favorites based on your last name and how well you do at sports. It is a very sport driven school. The music and arts are often forgot about and always get the short end of the stick. We have many talented artists that are never appreciated. It is really sad to see the lack of funding for these programs. The school is more on the small side with an average of 35 kids per class. With small schools, you don't have many college classes or advanced classes. This makes college readiness difficult. A perk about the small school, although, is the community. Everyone knows you and you have a lot of support from fellow students, teachers, parents, etc.
