Alum: I graduated from Andover Central High School in 2023, and my school helped me integrate into life in a new country in the gentlest way. Even though there were not a wide diversity, both students and faculties in the school were friendly, generous and welcoming. The most memorable experiment that I missed when I go to college is the food; in my own opinion, my school lunch was great, especially the salad and the bread. Most teachers that I had were passionate about their jobs and their goals are to help students understand the materials. Throughout my four years of high school, I hardly ever saw any fights during school. The facility might not be the best compared to other school in the area, but the building is always clean and neat. In contrast to its greatness, the lack of diversity resulted in isolation of some students who are new to the school and unable to make friends due to their introvert personality. Senior: During my time at Northeast magnet high school I have changed in many ways. They turned me from a confused little girl into a college ready woman. Over the past four years I have connected with my peers and teachers, became college bound, and enjoyed an experience I don’t think I would have got at any other school. The teachers are amazing and always ready to help, the administrators are always there to help you solve your problems, and your peers around you come from different backgrounds and have different stories. I’ve participated in school events such as magnet day, projects fair, and leadership. There are so much more to Northeast. I appreciate the smalls class and the hard workloads. Although sometimes it can get hard there is always someone to talk to. If you can figure something out your teachers are always willing to step in and give you a helping hand. Alum: Personally, the best part was the performing fine arts. Finding a place where I felt that I belonged. Also, the teachers. I wouldn't say I had a bad experience in general. At least not one that stuck with me. Something I would like to see change is school spirit. That has more to do with students, but I think it is really important.
