Hesston High School
#27 Best Public High Schools in Kansas
- Hesston Unified School District, KS

Senior: Hesston is a very good school but the social environment is very clique based. If you do not do sports or fit in with the group you want, you will have difficulties making friends. Being different is not very accepted there but mostly if you are nice to people and don’t cause drama, you will be fine. Education is decent at Hesston, the teachers care about the students and there are some fantastic teachers.

Sophomore: I like how many opportunities there are here at goessel. Before I moved to goessel in 8th grade, I never played any sports, but since moving to Goessel, I have been involved in a number of sports year round. There is also an availability of clubs for everyone that I find incredibly usful, as I enjoy singing and acting as well. I hope this helped!

Senior: Newton High School has helped me become the person that I am today. Staff and administration make it their goal every day to give students the best possible learning environment. With abundant opportunities to take honors and AP classes as well as get involved in CTE pathways, I have discovered my loves of journalism and medical science. Aside from academics, counselors and teachers encourage students to get involved in clubs and activities, resulting in my title of Editor-In-Chief of the school newspaper. Due to supportive teachers, administration, extracurricular activities and academics, I believe that I have received the best possible education to prepare me for college.
