Junior: The teachers are all very supportive and helpful but I think academics is held at a lower standard than it can and should be. There aren't as many opportunities as bigger schools, but the resources that are available are great!

Pleasanton High School
- Pleasanton Unified School District, KS
- 33 reviews
Senior: I love the closeness of the school. All the teachers are genuinely interested in the well-being of their students, and the Principle strives to encourage all the students in his care. I only wish that the school was more funded and could offer more athletic opportunities such as Swim or Water polo.

Paola High School
- Paola Unified School District, KS
- 140 reviews
Sophomore: Paola High School may not be the biggest school of all, but it certainly is big in pride. Just by going there for my second year, I feel like I belong and everyone is respectful. Our athletics department excels in many ways and may be one of the biggest focuses. Students at Paola strive to show pride and be considerate of others. Our curriculum is changing over to more of hands on project and displaying of our knowledge on our subjects, making our studying and learning excel with great outcomes. We have many opportunities to get involved with our communities. Our school building is kept clean and well updated. There is not a day I couldn't say I was proud to be a Panther!

Prairie View High School

- 52 reviews
Senior: I love Prairie View High School! I believe that they have one of the best staffs in Kansas. They had a recent rough year, but they made a great comeback! The amount of college readiness has definitely improved. Although, I think it could still be improved in some classes. The safety and loving environment shows how much our teachers really care about us as students!

Miami High School
- Miami R-I School District, MO
- 7 reviews
High School Senior: I love this school so much more than some people would admit. It's not just great for opening up people who are especially shy, like I myself was, but the student body cares for you also. They try to know who you are and if you just keep to your self that's fine too. The best part of my day, when I'm at school, is when I'm walking down the halls and person after person says hi, and they want to know how your day is going. If it's bad then they will give you a hug and try to cheer you up. Unless it's the older girls you talk to, then you know they have more experience and they don't really care for your problems because they're way too busy making up their own. Just as well as this school can be great it can also be pretty questioning too. Because though you have the awesome teachers who care for you, you also have the stuck up people who don't want to change the school in any way possible. Even trying to create a yearbook can be costly. They just need to be more understanding of others, and accept that change will happen to everyone. We all do eventually anyways.

Jayhawk-Linn High School
- Jayhawk Unified School District, KS
- 60 reviews
Parent: Jayhawk Linn was a traditional small town high school. There was about 40 people per graduating class. The athletics were popular but not by any means know by other schools. There was a major influence in the STEM community with a math teacher taking students to engineering visits to neighboring universities.
