Alum: I absolutely loved participating in the El Dorado Springs marching band during my time there. The program has grown quite a bit since my graduation. The administration has just recently upgraded a good portion of the buildings and continued to show support for the music departments. I would like to see more college preparedness happening in the classrooms.

Senior: I love most of the teachers, because the ones that care, care on an emotional level and an academic level. I enjoy most staff, cooks, and janitors. But the head of the school care more about attendance and what you wear over whether you're understanding what you're learning or not. I've had so many great memories there, but I wished it offered more and didn't take away character and color around the school so they could replace it with school colors and tiger heads. That is not representing us, nor does it give us school spirit. We aren't allowed to express inviduality in the sense around the school. It's all about sports, who has the best GPA, and attendance. They never express or stress people who are struggling emotionally or academically, excelling in another area besides sports, and encourage us to do as we dream. Not what they envision for us. The school experience is bittersweet, but I believe most schools are.

Senior: Rich Hill Highschool is really the epitome of a small-town school. Everyone knows everyone and it is pretty small. There are very few electives to choose from, although you can sign up to get vocational training in trades such as construction, welding, agriculture, or graphic design, in a neighboring town. There are a few amazing teachers who truly care for their students and want to see them excel in life. The teachers are really the only thing that elevates this school from average to very good.

Senior: My expierence at NEVC has been great, like every high school we all go through difficult times. I feel like out school staff knows how to take care of those situations pretty well. Our education is very important to them and that we can accomplish a lot for our futures.
