Senior: Ste. Genevieve R2 is a wonderful district to be a part of and to have come from, I've had none the less of a blessed experience. All the teachers do a fantastic job of including each student every day in class. Our teachers are engaged in students' academics, as well as our personal lives. The only thing I could possibly think to change about this school is the way in which the district spends our funds. As a student, I see many peers around who do not have all needs satisfied. As a student, I also see a lot of things around our school that are very unnecessary to have. Our district is one of the highest-funded schools in our area; therefore we have a lot of extra things in which we do not need because these unnecessary things do not further educate us. I wish the money our district spends on these extra things would instead go to fund an organization where students can come together and gather things in which these students do not have, and simply give it to them at no cost at all.

Senior: I am a current senior at Farmington, and overall, I have had a positive experience here. The entire faculty is determined to make sure the student body is cared for and striving to be their greatest self. My instructors constantly challenge me and give me the support I need to succeed. FHS is always looking for ways to improve, and actively asks for students input. This leads to more clubs, student government, and student involvement overall. The only downfall of this, and negative expirence with this I've had is sometimes certain programs tend to be neglected or just abandoned overall. Other than this, I have had a wonderful time being a student at Farmington High School.

High School Senior: I love that Chester high school has block scheduling. I like having only four classes per day. It allows more time to complete homework, especially since high school students have such busy schedules and a lot of responsibilities. The most popular classes are the ones with fun teachers. If a teacher has a great personality, the students seem to rush to fill their classes.

High School Junior: In my opinion, school is what you make it. If you go about it saying it sucks or that the teachers suck and blame everything thing on other people then you probably won't succeed. As long as you try in school, put forward the effort, and use resources available there are great chances you will do well. My high school has implemented a new thing starting last year where every student has to be a member of a club. There has also been many new clubs added to fit the interests of every student. I think this is a really great idea and should help students be more involved and make new friends who share their interests. Some clubs have really sky rocketed such as Gaming Club and Anime Club. Though neither of these are interests I have it's great to see others find their place! The downfall to this idea is that this year students were put in to clubs for the "club day" so that one club doesn't get too large. I feel this could enable kids to get into the club they finally fit in to. Also, Gaming Club was taken away and I know there were many students strongly upset about this. Another thing new to our school this year is the BYOD policy. I think is a great policy allowing technology to be used more in class despite the constant non-working laptops and lack of laptops at our school.
