Senior: I have went to Pleasant Plains High School for 4 years now. I am active in many clubs and sports throughout the school. I am involved in Spanish Club, Science Club, Beta Club, National Honors Society, and I am involved in Cardinal Ambassadors with in the school. I also play volleyball, basketball, and I participate in track and field. The teachers and staff are all so nice and willing to help their students with any problems. The atmosphere in the school is very relaxing and all of the students are friends. There are a variety of classes at you can take to prepare you for your future if you go to college or straight to work like: AP classes or agricultural classes. The normal lunch line has the A and B meals that you get a main course and two sides. The a la carte line has a bunch of main course meals and a few sides, but it is much more expensive. Overall I think my experience at Pleasant Plains High School was enjoyable and I really thought that it has prepared me for my future.

Senior: I enjoyed the small size of the school. It caused many tight knit friend groups. Also, the individuals in my school got along fairly well and bullying was not a huge issue inside the school. Most teachers were very helpful and caring. There were, though, some teachers who could be pretty harsh and not very helpful when asked questions. Overall, New Berlin is a very good community and the faculty is mostly caring.

Junior: Small class sizes make getting help very easy! Teachers really care about their students and always give extra help when needed. The junior high has a state ranked chess team that has placed in the top three several times. The school is very small, so everyone knows everyone else.

Senior: I like the people at this school; there are very few people that have any problems with respect. I would say that they should plan things better, such as calling snow days when we legitimately need them. I’m not saying that so I don’t have to go to school; there are times when the roads are pure ice and they don’t cancel school for the day. One day they did that I saw a kid walking to school and they slipped on the ice and fell into the road.
