Alum: It had its ups and downs. While it isn't incredibly diverse, it has teachers that genuinely care about their students. Teachers listen and work hard to make sure that every student succeeds at MHS. They will go the extra mile. More importantly, the extracurriculars are amazing. Many teams have at the very least made it to Sectionals, if not won State! The music and art departments are also fabulous, and are known state-wide for their excellence. I loved my time at MHS.

Senior: Blue Ridge is overall a pretty good school. You can tell that the teachers are genuinely interested in helping their students succeed and that they are truly dedicated to helping students learn. It's a very friendly atmosphere and there are plenty of groups and clubs to get involved in, like band, Mental Health Club, Key Club, Drama Club, Student Council, Art Club, Book Club, an extensive variety of sports, and so much more! It's pretty small, so everybody knows everybody, which creates a family of sorts. It's cozy and has a real school spirit vibe going a lot of the time. Blue Ridge is an awesome school and holds many opportunities for greatness.
