Junior: Mostly young, driven teachers that are devoted to their jobs and love to help the next generation. The education that the students receive is one of the highest in the area with students receiving top scores and great grades. The school is nice and the area is great. My overall experience at Morton was amazing. There are so many clubs, organizations and athletics to keep you busy! The school offers foreign languages and clubs such as FCA and Key club, but there are so many to choose from. The athletics there are great! Many of the teams have gone to state multiple times. Overall, it is a great school with a great staff and great students.

Parent: We are so thankful for the outstanding education and enrichment our son received from Washington Community High School. Of course you will hear and read about their athletic programs - and they are outstanding - but, the value that this school and community place on the arts is phenomenal. From theatre to marching band to art to choir to multiple band categories, you name it, the experience is unparalleled in the Peoria area and rivals the best in the state. There truly is something for everyone at Washington. The opportunity to find your passion and grow tremendously in that field is the greatest attribute of this school. We are forever grateful!

Senior: I love it here. As a community, we work together to raise money for the kids of St. Jude every year. Last year, we raised nearly $64,000! We have gathered all this money through local businesses and fundraising in our schools. We hold around 10 events throughout the year to raise the money, and there are other people in the community who raise money separately. This is just one thing I love about the community of Eureka, Illinois. I have always felt safe at Eureka, and I do not plan on leaving the area any time soon.

Alum: The teachers at EPCHS are great. They really do care about your future. I liked how many upper-level and dual credit courses there were. The morale was good, and we had a lot of good curricular activities. The sports programs, however were not the best. Not only was EPCHS in a losing record for almost every sport, but the coaching ability was not typically there. Players were usually chosen based on politics rather than actual talent or abilities. Otherwise EPCHS is a great school with some great teachers and opportunities. The academics were always on or above average.
