Alum: My experience at Annawan High School was very educational and emotional. Annawan is dually oriented in academics and sports. Our school spirit is over the top. Annawan is very supportive of our teams and academic achievements. I felt that I learned a lot from Annawan. How to be a good student and strive for success whether it be in life or grades. I also learned that in order to succeed you need to search for answers and ask for help. Overall my time at Annawan was very memorable.

Niche User: Overall Kewanee High School was a great place to go to because of all the great teachers that were there. In a small town like Kewanee Illinois, this was a good school with all of the many things offered. This school had many great resources that would aid the student in learning many great things. About every classroom had a smart board or some form of technology that would help the teachers present their course material in a more effective way. Another great thing from this school are the teachers because they are extremely helpful towards the students because they truly want to help their students. Therefore, Kewanee high School was a great school to go to because of the great resources and teachers.

Galva Junior/Senior High School

Senior: The faculty are very nice and more than willing to help you exceed.
Every year, more clubs and organizations are created to cater to the interests of the students. Students are allowed to create clubs themselves so long as they find a sponsor within the school (which is more than easy to do.)
The student body as a whole are very kind and supportive of their fellow students. Everyone's friends with everyone in a school like Galva Jr./Sr. High School.
Students are also allowed to take college classes concurrently with their high school classes from their freshman year: however, this is totally optional. This is a great program for exceptionally brilliant students. Many students graduate from high school while also graduating from Black Hawk College with their associates degree.
There are not a whole lot of diversity, mostly because Galva is a small, rural Midwestern town. However, students are accepting of all ethnicities and racism is practically nonexistent in this school.

Senior: I like how involved the community is with the school. Almost everything at Wethersfield High School feels safe and like home. I've gone to this school my whole life, so I may have a bias opinion, but I think most concepts are exceptional. I think this school should incorporate better food choices for the students. I also believe everyone in the school should focus more on the academics than the athletics. Sports are very important to many at Wethersfield High School, maybe even too important. I believe if they toned it down on the sports, students would try to focus more on their academics.

Senior: I like the closeness between students and teachers. The class sizes range from 5-20 students which makes it easier to understand the material and ask the teacher a question. Because the school is so small they do not offer that many classes such as science and foreign language classes. Overall, I love the small town feel in my highschool.
