Sterling High School
#147 Best Public High Schools in Illinois

Senior: Our school has a very diverse and tight knit culture where everyone seems to know each other. Sterling High School is technology friendly, and everyone has access to the internet and a personal computer given to the student by the school. With the addition of the computers, learning and development has never seemed easier. Not only is the learning environment great, but the social environment just seems to get better everyday. Some event seems to happen everyday, whether that's a sporting event, a play, or any other social event. Football games at Sterling is a feeling most people in the world will never experience, and I feel very sorry for those people.

Rock Falls Township High School
- Public School
- Rock Falls, IL
- 53 reviews
Senior: I am a senior at Rock Falls that is involved in multiple clubs and play volleyball and softball. I am involved in Spanish club, National Honors Society, Girls Group, BLAST, BLIND, Student Council, and Class Officer. Also, I like the different clubs that Rock Falls Township High School has to offer to it's students. The variety of sports offered gives athletes an option to explore other opportunities. Our school offers baseball, softball, volleyball, basketball, track and field, cross country, football, golf, bowling, and swimming. There is an endless amount of activities for students to get involved. I would like to see changes made to some of the athletic facilities, so they can be more up-to-date. Overall, Rock Falls does not need huge changes just a few here and there because Rock Falls is a pretty great place.

High School Senior: If I had to do high school all over again, I would definitely choose Prophetstown High School again! The school is located in a little country town in the midwest. Everybody knows everybody and you can always be confident that there is a helping hand nearby if you need it. There is so many genuine people at PHS and I wouldn't want to spend my high school career anywhere else!
