Senior: I enjoy attending this school because my teachers are willing to help me understand certain topics and really seem to care about my success. I feel safe here, the cafeteria food is exceptional, and the administration works hard to ensure that our school maintains a standard of excellence. Since our school has fewer students than other districts, we are encouraged to be involved in clubs and sports that we maybe would not have participated in otherwise. With that being said, I believe that the athletes representing our school play with passion and heart. Guided by proficient coaches, they learn the value of teamwork, that through unity much can be achieved. While being at a small school is difficult at times, I feel that the sense of community and devotion that encompasses us as we learn and grow is a special part of our culture at Cissna Park. I feel that because of my education here, I am equipped to continue my education and take the next step in my life.

Sophomore: I like all the teachers here, and they all want to help you the best they can. The guidance counselor gets to know each student and really helps everyone to do what they need to get the jobs and the colleges they want. Being able to volunteer in the grade school is a great opportunity that I enjoy. The school events like homecoming are really fun and it feels like everyone is involved. Even if you aren't participating, you are cheering your class and friends.
I would like more choices for electives, such as home economics or more foreign languages other than Spanish. Considering we didn't even have a spanish teacher this year, that is probably asking too much.

Senior: I enjoyed the small town nature of Watseka Community High School. Everybody knows everybody knows everybody and that just seems like the way it should be. One aspect, of Watseka Community High School that I did not care for was the increasingly strict rules, however all schools must have rules, so the understanding is there.

Senior: There are so many opportunities that are offered here and great teachers that push your potential to the highest. With a wide variety of extracurricular activities, there is nothing that one student couldn't be involved in. There are many students that are highly active in various activities and are also high honors students. I haven't ever not felt safe at this school and the administration goes above and beyond to make sure that we do feel safe at school. There is not a clique culture because everyone accepts everyone else.
