Alum: My experience at Wheaton Warrenville South High School was amazing, and I would go back in a heart beat to do it over again. The teachers really cared about their students and wanted to set them up for success- inside and out of the classroom. The coaches at WWSHS are extremely knowledgeable and really know what they are doing. The school has top notch facilities and is well taken care of. WWSHS is a sport and music powerhouse, that hosts some of the top competitions in the nation. You feel at home when in WWSHS and everyone you meet has the same love for the school. The counselors are well equipped to deal with anything, and do an amazing job with the college search. I came out of WWSHS with a great deal of knowledge and it became really clear the quality of education that I received when entering a 4 year university was superior to many of my peers. I cannot say enough good things about Wheaton Warrenville South High School!

Lisle High School
#83 Best Public High Schools in Illinois
- Lisle Community Unit School District No. 202, IL
- 106 reviews
Senior: Lisle High School is a small school; only about five hundred students total. The school got listed as one of the best schools in the state. This is true. Most of the teachers are extremely helpful, friendly, and care about their students. As a senior there, I know I can turn to a trusted teacher. There are lots of oppritunites, from boy's and girl's sports, to art club, math team and theatre. Staff, and especially other students, encourage you to sign up for a sport, club, or activity if you have a chance. I've gotten closer to so many people because of it. The staff is encouraging, there's always someone to turn to. During homecoming week, everyone gets involved and the pep rallys are very fun.

Senior: I love how so many people from different backgrounds all came together to form the best high school there is. Everyone was so kind and accepting to everyone. People could make friends at my school by just laughing at a joke, this would bring people together. Everyone was a knuckle-head but we all loved each other like a family. Everyone has been through something hard and high school was a place that nothing else mattered but your friends. The teachers would help build relationships with your peers and create a relaxing environment for everyone to enjoy. Some of them were really tough but they all loved their students. All in all I really enjoyed my high school. I will miss that place.
