Niche User: I liked attending school here because it was a smaller one. I think it helped me learn a bit more easy because of the individualized help that the teachers could give you. They got to know you as a person and teach you based off of how you learned specifically. They were also very helpful when it came to needing extra help. Most of the time they were able to stay after school to teach you something you didn't understand or to help finish an assignment. I also enjoyed how small of a class I had. We had 17 kids in our class. It was nice because we all knew each other and we all got along pretty well. Though the diversity was a bit lacking, it was nice to know almost everyone in the school.

Hazen High School
#34 Best Public High Schools in North Dakota

Senior: I moved to Hazen my junior year and have had a great experience. The school provides high quality education, strong academic organizations, sports that revolve around cooperation, hardwork, and kindness, and it also has extensive availability to a support system. However, being a smaller school I feel as if there are minimal opportunities for students that Excel, such as; AP classes, a more extensive availability for classes, more extra curricular activities, and more sports. Although the school is missing a greater variety of these aspects, it holds many characteristics that will ensure its students thrive.

Senior: Flasher High School is a great school in a small community. Being in such a small community allows you to get to know everyone. The teachers within the school are very dedicated to help students learn. With small classes it allows the teachers to pay more attention to students needs.
