Alum: I had an amazing experience at Sully Buttes High School. The faculty and administrators are very helpful, warm, and inviting. When getting to college I realized that Sully Buttes prepared me well for the workload that comes with a college education. The only thing I can think of that would enhance the school is the food.

High School Senior: This school is great because the classes are so small. Your class is basically your family and no matter what, by senior year you cant help but have a certain sibling love for all your classmates. Another great thing about Gettysburg High School is that you can get one on one time with your teachers if you are struggling. The teachers really care about each and every student. One thing that isn't very appealing about GHS is the fact that there isn't a very wide range of classes. There is no art classes and only one foreign language. Accounting II is on the list of classes but isn't available if only two or three students want to take it. Psychology 101, PE, and Computer classes are also examples of classes that don't advance further. This school is also really sports orientated. So if you don't play a sport, you might want to consider participating in FCCLA or FFA, which are also really big extracurriculars in Gettysburg High School. Lastly, seniors only get Senior Privileges during the very last quarter of the year!

High School Senior: You can get into all of the classes you need with a decent amount of optional classes available as well. You won't find every class offered at a AAA high school, but Hoven High School has a good amount of options despite its small size.

High School Senior: Coming to Cheyenne Eagle Butte, was different from the city. I have come back to the reservation when my grandfather wasn't in too great of shape. I have met, and made new friends and relatives. I have learned to speak Lakota language again, I have grown more attached to my culture. I have made a lot of friends, over the past few years I've attended this school. I have learned I became a role model for younger girls here, and I want to show them that there's more opportunities out there and to never be afraid to take chances. This school has made an impact on my life more than I can explain. Though there aren't as much activities, I always found a way to keep myself occupied. I definitely never thought that coming here would make me miss it, but I sure would love to start it all over again.
