Junior: I would say that there are some really positive things about Red River and some things that could be improved. For instance I have had the opportunity to be taught by some phenomenal teachers, but some teachers leave much to be desired. My most positive experiences at Red River have been through the athletics and music opportunities offered. Red River has a beautiful music department and a state-of-the-art performance hall. Red River truly values the arts.
I also believe that the school does a good job creating fun student activities. A seemingly insignificant but actually fairly unfortunate downside of Red River is the lack of natural light in many of the classrooms.

Senior: I moved here in Sophomore year and the students were pretty nice ans over the years I've definitely made some very good friends. As far as school the diversity is pretty low and becuase of that an understanding of other cultures is also pretty low. They also have an obsessive rule about earbuds in the hall, it's quite ridiculous; not to long ago phones were only allowed in certain areas of the school. The food is pretty average and the dress code is lenient unless a female's clothes are deemed distracting.

Senior: The staff at Crookston High School is what made my experience the best. I felt I got the attention there that was needed, I got extra time with teachers during passing time, before school, or after school when I didn't understand something completely. It was a safe environment to be in every morning surrounded by good influences. Every year attending school my favorite time of the year is homecoming because of all the fun activities we do with other students or even against staff. The food at the school in my opinion is very good, I'm more of a healthy eater and everyday there is salad bar provided as well as some type of fruit. The school the teachers to try their very best to be a little more strict on older kids to get us ready for college. With test after test, or making tests limited which really makes us push to get ready for college because we won't have extra time in college. I have one semester left and have really enjoyed my experience.

Freshman: Since I am not even done with half my freshman year, I am not qualified to necessarily give such a good review. But, so far the people have been nice. Some of the teachers, meaning really only 1, is not that nice of a person but when you talk to an official they always take care of it and it's better for a while. This school district really does care about their students and they provide us with a good education. (so far)

Senior: East Grand Forks Senior High School got a nice new addition: bigger parking lot, brand new gym and weight room, new track and field, new band and choir rooms, and new locker rooms. It has been fun to see this school change into something new. The athletic department as become better. The art rooms and performing art rooms are bigger and better to practice in. This is a small school so everyone is nice to each other and the staff helps out their students as best they can.
