Senior: I’ve attended Patrick F Taylor from 6th grade to senior, and it has definitely changed over time. This school has definitely prepared me for college and challenged me academically. There are select special teachers in theatre, art, and science departments where I felt I could really on for support and help. The atmosphere and school involvement activities are what really made my time here worthwhile. For the most part, I’ve noticed that the school and student body puts in effort to be an inclusive and safe environment, with exception for a few teachers/uniform policy stuff.
However, I have felt that my education in mathematics was extremely lacking due to a severe inability for the school to hire qualified and permanent teachers for core math subjects starting in 2018. Additionally, the administration has had a history of being bad with handling issues like reports, bullying reports, scheduling most likely due to recent switching of higher ups, but it’s getting better.
