For my main point I believe that this school can exceed a student's expectations as the school provides an exceptional source of education. Quoted from the "PYLUSD Advantage," the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District's schools have consistently earned the "reputation for providing outstanding educational opportunities for our students." Of course, going by this statement, VHS provides each and every student with many educational opportunities to help them achieve their goals. Being said, as long as a student is constantly driven towards their precious goals, Valencia High School can guarantee a student's dreams to come true. All in all, Valencia is a perfect school for any child's success. Senior: It’s been ok, usual and casual high school experience. Starting out was rough, since I had transferred schools and districts the summer before freshman year during covid. Since then, I’ve noticed the little things change. I’ve gotten out of my shell more, I’ve gathered enough courage to do more things connected to school or my community. I’ve also acquired more friends, and gotten to know most (if not all of) the staff on campus! Some teachers have been really supportive throughout my (almost) 4 years of High School, and some haven’t been the best. Senior: Hello my name is Dylan and my experience at Parkview has been amazing. I have been a student at Parkview for 13 years. I have really enjoyed a lot about the school. Some of the positives for me would be the great community, quality classes, scheduling flexibility, and the many opportunities homeschooling in general offers. The entire community at Parkview is completely amazing from the teachers and staff to students. Furthermore, the classes offered are very high quality and the teachers always make themselves available to help. Homeschooling in general also comes with some great perks such as scheduling flexibility and many extra opportunities. Whilst Parkview is amazing, there is one thing I would have liked to see change, as a student who has gone there. I think more sports opportunities would be nice overall. I always looked forward to doing PE as an elementary-middle school student, but whilst a high school student I missed out on doing those activities.... Read 12 reviews
