Senior: I liked how Sparta is very focused on keeping a high academic reputation. I also like that there are fast-acting administrators. If I ever had a problem at the school, there were many resources available to me. Sparta has also done an excellent job helping me through my college process. They believe strongly in helping the students achieve any goals they have after high school. One criticism about Sparta High School would be the school spirit and culture. Senior: When I moved to Newton highschool my sophomore year because my parents got divorced I for sure wanted to hate this school, but as I got to know what Newton had to offer and the people and teachers there I realized that for my next two years of highschool this is where I belonged. The teachers and students make you feel welcomed and accepted not only that but there are so many clubs and sports that you could participate in. Middle School Student: Lenape is a place of constant support. No matter where you go, there is a teacher, a guidance counselor, a coach, or a nurse willing to help. Lenape truly looks out for its students, and the community strives to ensure its kids have a good experience. The atmosphere is always energetic and encouraging, and staff members are always doing their best to make everyday a good one! The students here made the high school experience I expected come true. The pep and energy in the hallways, sports games, spirit weeks, and even just in the classroom made high school everything I had imagined. The academics here are challenging, which is always a good thing. I truly believe they prepared me for college, although I definitely think the guidance department should be more involved in the process. I think a lot of students felt like they were in the dark. Alum: Vernon Township Highschool was a great school to attend. After graduating I felt prepared for the coursework in all my college classes. Senior: The best thing about my high school are the shops. To my mind every single high school should be a technical school. It helps us as students to choose the path we want to follow. And if we still have doubts about a career, participating in shops will help us make the right choice. Also, the vast diversity of sports also is a very important point. The fact that a student can practice a sport, and be an athlete all year long, during all 3 seasons is what makes this high school so special to me and my friends.
