Senior: Cleveland High School is an overall great school! The opportunities for extracurricular activities is overwhelming. The groups are very diverse, which helps to get to know so many new people. The choices for classes is very much the same, which makes sure that you get a well-rounded education, and gives you a variety of choices in electives.
The teachers are always willing to help and provide opportunities for the help you need. They are very invested in their students' success,
the school spirit is also a plus, homecoming as well as prom is a big deal, and allows for full school inclusion.

The Ask Academy
#2 Best Public High Schools in Sandoval County
- Public School
- Rio Rancho, NM
Senior: As a student that has attended The ASK Academy since the eighth grade, I can see that we have come a long way since my first day. We have Switched from a small two-story building with practically no commons (our auditorium and lunchroom) and teachers constantly having to share rooms, despite not having anywhere near the same subjects to now having a commons that is big enough for all the scholars, both middle and high school, and only five teachers sharing rooms. In terms of academics, we have only limed options for electives, those being biomedical or engineering. We have no fine arts classes, nor cooking, drama, or other subjects offered to us. We do, however, have a publishing class that handles the yearbook committee and school newspaper, we also have other common clubs, like the dance committee, National Honors Society, and scholar government.

Rio Rancho High School

Alum: Overall going to high school here was a lot of fun. Some people (including myself) did have issues with certain policies only pertaining to certain students. Ex. Student athletes could were short shorts but other girls would be sent to the office or sent home for doing so. The counselors were really great with current issues (personal or grades) but were not helpful at all with anything pertaining to college. They had little to no knowledge of what to do after the application process. I had to figure it all out on my own but I was still able to manage. Sports and AP programs are great. Highly recommend taking AP courses, the teachers are all great!

St. Margaret's School
- Private School
- Tappahannock, VA
Freshman: I found my family here at St. Margaret's and they are from all around the world! Students from the U.S. and countries such as Vietnam, China, Rwanda, Chile, and more come together at this amazing school in pastoral Virginia. There is a lot of focus on academics, with classes tailored to each student. Teachers are helpful, ready to go the extra mile to help me do my personal best. As an ALL girls school, the staff empowers me to be the strongest version of me. My faith is supported, and the small amount of students selected to go to this exclusive and inclusive school makes for a fantastic place to forge close bonds with multinational students. The campus is beautiful, in a historic area of Virginia known as the "birthplace of the nation," rich with history and beauty. Richmond and Washington D.C. are within a two hour drive, but we're far enough away to be surrounded by amazing wildlife and the River. This is the best educational decision my parents ever made for me. Seriously!

Jemez Valley High School

Senior: Some very good teachers that prepare you! Others not so. Diversity is great, teaches many lessons. Food is ok if you’re not paying for it. Terrible if you are. Needs increased spirit and attitudes, especially administrators.

Walatowa Charter High School
- Public School
- Jemez Pueblo, NM
Alum: My overall experience at Walatowa HIgh Charter School was great! Being that this hgh school was small, i really enjoyed every moment of it; from the teachers to classes to watching or playing in a sport. i really liked how small of a school it was because it gave me many opportunities for having some one on one time with the teachers and really just getting to know everyone there! I like Walatowa Charter High School just the way it is and i wouldnt want to see anything change.

Bernalillo High School
- Bernalillo Public Schools, NM
Junior: What I liked about Bernalillo High School was what it's resources have offered me, only in my junior year. In the begginging as a Freshman I didn't really know what I needed to be doing as a high school student to make sure I have a good future. I came to this high school my freshman year welcomed and told this was an important time but not encouraged to find out why. Though they've pressured us to carry around binders for "college readiness." They have not prepared me at all. I felt behind so I went to my counselor, and our schools new College and Career counselor. They told me I was one of the few juniors who was taking an interest in my future this early. They gave me so much needed information and on what I needed to be doing/considering as a high school junior. So, in all I feel what BHS could do better is informing their students from the start what they need to be thinking about and encourage us to find it out because wasn't
