Freshman: OGHS is an all around great school. There is a great environment both during school and during extra curricular activities. The teachers are very smart, helpful, and attentive to each and every student’s needs. There are a good amount of college level classes and plenty of opportunities for classes based on each student’s wants and needs. There is a very safe and friendly environment throughout the school and there is always someone in the office to help.

Senior: KHS is a great school academically and athletically. It’s full of great teachers and faculty who are on top of their work and really care about the well-being of the students. My school has been ranked very well academically in the state of Ohio for many consecutive years. It provides its students with all the necessary measures to be prepared for college, life, and beyond.

Senior: Miller City High School is a great school that will prepare you for your future. Its small size allows everyone to know everybody, and they treat each other like family. Bullying is a realitively rare occurance, and teachers are respected with authority. The classes offered give students the knowledge they need to do well after school.
Miller City High School offers college credit courses that count towards students' freshman year of college and even as a sophmore in college. These classes include several Engineering, Medical, Writing, Economic, and Government classes.
The teachers know us by our name. They connect with us by revealing personal experiences they have encountered throughout their lives. They want you to succeed, but they will not just give you the grade you want. They expect you to fully participate in class to learn and grow as a knowledgeable person. They are very good teachers, and the only way you dont succeed is if you choose not to.

As a student here at CGHS, I am not lying when I say that I not woken up ready to start learning from the great staff that is teaching me what I need to learn for my future. Leipsic High School
#6 Best Public High Schools in Putnam County
- Leipsic Local School District, OH
- Rating 4.14 out of 5 44 reviews
Senior: Leipsic High School was a very pleasant way to get through the 9th through 12th grades. A majority of the staff are very friendly, or will, at the very least, hear you out. Education-wise, all the essentials are taught by competent teachers, and can even be enjoyable at times. They even offer college credit plus classes to be taught inside the school, and have it count for both high school and college credit! The only real con I can think of is that the food is edible, I suppose.

Continental Local High School
#9 Best Public High Schools in Putnam County
- Continental Local School District, OH
- Rating 3.53 out of 5 17 reviews
Senior: I have lived in Continental for 18 years. The town as well as the school is very small and close knit. Everyone is very involved in all the activities and clubs here. I am involved in four sports, the drama department, NHS, and homecoming decorating. Everyone is always running back and forth from home to school to make it to all their practices. Here, everyone knows who everyone is and knows what they are up to. It can be a bit bothersome every once and a while, but I like to know who everyone is in the hallways instead of seeing people I have never met, on a daily basis. The class sizes are very small which helps with concentration. Nobody is afraid to ask questions because if they are struggling, then normally, everyone else is too. I wish there were more opportunities through the school, but I can't complain otherwise!
