Junior: My experience at Lake Wales High School has been fantastic thus far. I am a junior this year and am enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program, which is proving to be quite the challenge. Every teacher is kind, caring, and willing to go out of their way to help a student succeed. They love working with kids, even through the challenges posed by COVID-19. The classes are challenging, the campus is fantastic, and there is such a positive atmosphere at the school. There is inspirational and intellectual writing on the walls, as well as paintings and pictures of famous people. The motto at our school is “you are your brother’s keeper,” and we strive to live by that every day, on or off campus.
