Liberty High School
Senior: Overall alright. Most of the classes are good, most of my teachers have been supportive and knowledgeable, and the experience has overall been decent.
However, Liberty has it's fair share of problems too. A few teachers don't teach, don't know how to teach, or don't know the material very well. Its frustrating to have to self-study for AP exams for courses you're in. This is made worse by the block schedule used by Liberty. AP courses are designed to be full year courses, so when courses are taken in half a year it's sometimes hard. This is especially bad for courses that involve lots of writing or reading such as English classes. During the pandemic, the Collegeboard was posting notes videos, and because we took the course in a half-year, we were always ahead of their supplemental videos. And taking an AP course in the second half of the year can be worse, as you have only from Late January to early May to learn the material.... Read 468 reviews
