Junior: Most teachers are chill, some can't really teach clearly but all are fairly nice. Environment is okay, not the safest not the worst. The administration for this school district is having many issues as of 2022 and 2023, issues effect students and staff who both have equally complained about their problems with the administration but things usually don't fix themselves. The counselors are not very useful and if you have questions it's better to research yourself rather than go to the counselors. Senior: I hardly think there is anything to change at all at Hilmar. It is a school I feel completely safe at and there are countless opportunities to join different clubs, register for certain classes, and play many sports. The teachers are all amazing and kind, willing to help where it's needed, and the education gained from this school is remarkable, we don't just memorize, we learn. The support system, staff, and counselors are great as well are the students. Alum: Buhach was your average high school. I did make plenty of friends and life long memories on the baseball team and in speech and debate. The teachers always worked hard to provide the best education they could. I have many fond memories of my teachers and my classmates. However, there was a severe lack of discipline at BCHS, and often times, there would be litter over the school after lunch, or fights would break out and there seemed to be no control over them. Junior: I think this district needs improvement because we don't have any culture involved in school and we also don't have a lot of interesting school activities. I also really dislike how sports are managed because some people are really patient about playing a sport, but then they don't make the team because they don't have enough experience. I think something they should really work on is getting the students to trust the staff becuase thats why I lot of kids do bad becuase they dont have someone to truth or someone to support them. Senior: Hi there! My name is Dylan and I'm a student at Golden Valley High School in Merced. I feel lucky to be attending this school because there are so many great opportunities here. There's something for everyone, whether you're interested in music, sports, or community service. I joined FFA, and it's been an amazing experience. I've learned how to many things about agriculture and how things function in an agricultural environment. The school environment is really supportive. The teachers are passionate about their subjects and genuinely care about their students. They're always available to answer questions and provide extra help if needed. Senior: My experience at Livingston high school was amazing! I loved everything from it from the teachers to classmates, to classes. The clubs and sports are exciting to watch and hanging out with friends is always a blast. There is a new fence added around the school which is a big plus in safety, along with liaisons walking around at all times. Junior: My honest experience with Los Banos High School has been a stressful, as every high school is, but spirited and fun year! Depending on the classes you take, it’ll take a good chunk of your time. For example, taking AP classes as well as participating in sports will keep you very occupied. It’s worth it because you are recognized through our great sports program. Our sports are some of the best in your league. We also have a variety of sports on campus. Senior: Merced Scholars Charter School is a great school that I would recommend to anyone. This school is the perfect balance between homeschool and public school, it gives you the free time to work at your own pace while also offering in-person support classes and extra curricular classes such as leadership or business classes which are very helpful. They also offer frequent field trips, often to colleges around the state. The teachers are very attentive and personal and have each student’s best interest in mind. They made the process of attending college much easier, helping their students each step of the way. They also offer a lot of great resources that allow student’s the access to useful and advanced technology. Overall a really great school that I had the opportunity of attending! I recommend it!... Senior: I'm currently a senior at Gustine High. I am involved in a lot of the extracurricular activities. I play basketball and did softball and track and I loved them. My team in basketball made it playoffs this year and last year I loved playing. I am also in band and have been for 4 years and am the drum major this year. I love going to band reviews and have received a few trophies for my routines and our band. I love being able to be at a calm school like Gustjne High and the effort they put into all the fun activities. I love hanging out with my friends everyday and enjoy most of my classes. Senior: My experience at Le Grand High is that I like it. Senior: In my experience, Delhi High Schools is a good school if you are interested in agriculture, the medical field, or business. There is a pathway for medicine called DMAS which offers many classes, such as ROP Sports Med and Medical Technologies. I enjoyed taking ROP Medical Technologies because I learned different medical terms and the teacher sends us to sites to get experience in the medical field. The class made me consider a career in medicine. The agriculture pathway is called FFA, and I haven't personally been in that pathway, but they have many field trips and classes for the students in it. I'm also in entrepreneurship class which made me consider a career in business as well. I hope Delhi High School improves their sports in the future so we have more funds for athletics and better training. I personally did volleyball, track, and soccer, which I liked but we didn't always get to have the best resources due to lack of funds.... Read 140 reviews

Niche User: The Majority of students in this school arn't interested in education. But their was few students like me who wanted to become something. But the big high schools around payed little attention to me and my struggles. In this school I was able to crack out of my shell and realize that I was as important. Theyre is this program called the Acedemic Decathlon and it is truley something amazing. I seriously learned more in those few months that I joined then my entire high school expirence.
