Junior: Every school of course has its flaws, but Yosemite has been nothing but good to me. The teachers are all very kind and compassionate toward their students. Each and every student at Yosemite High has a place where they can be themselves. The students don't have many conflicts together and bullying is not a problem. The teachers are always good humored and eager to help anyone who needs it. Yosemite loves the fine arts and of course, sports. For such a small school, a wide range of IB classes are available and counselors try to prepare students as much as possible. A wonderful thing about this school is their clubs! Senior: Liberty High School is one of the places I call home. Even before I was in high school, I would participate in plays and musicals, and go to watch sports games. Then to finally get to go to school there was so much fun. From homecoming week to the Boys vs. Girls rallies, I always look forward to going to events. Not only were the extra curricular activities amazing, I absolutely loved all of my teachers. From freshmen to senior year, I had a great relationship with all of my teachers. Another great aspect of Liberty High School is the staff's dedication to their students. Junior: I like minarets because of multiple reasons. The culture and people here are all welcoming, everyone is very kind and close to the community. Everyone, including the teachers, are supportive and inspiring. I also like the amount of things you can get involved in at our school, it has FFA, NHS, CSF, Key Club, all sports including equestrian, as well as many others. There are two leadership classes that allow students to learn to be leaders. Students have the opportunity to start there own clubs and learn real-life skills. Senior: Minarets High School is a place of growth and inspiration. I moved to this school halfway through my sophomore year and could not have been more impressed. The environment is so loving and encouraging. The staff is absolutely amazing. They are supportive and helpful. This school honestly seems like a dream. I transferred from my other school because of bad situations such as bullying and just a bad school situation in general. When I got to Minarets, I instantly felt accepted and cared for. Senior: Madera High School has been a great experience for me. I love our campus and enjoy all the fun opportunities that have been provided to me. Every teacher I have met has treated me kindly and respectively, which is something I deeply admire. The librarian is also very sweet, always welcoming me with a "good morning!" as I walk through the doors. Our football team is excellent as each player works hard to receive a spot on the team. Some changes I would like to see are more business courses as they can give more of an insight into the business pathway. Another change I can recommend are school lunches; many other of my peers can relate to this as the school lunches could definitely be approved but aside from that, I enjoyed my time at Madera High.... Alum: The teachers at Madera South held themselves to a very professional level despite the kids that attend this school. They were all very friendly, there were those teachers that made me feel safe and comfortable being at school. The lunch ladies were pretty nice too, sometimes had an attitude but that was fine. Niche User: This school, and more importantly my teacher gave me the opportunities I needed to get my high school diploma. A whole semester early I might add. I wasn't in the best place in my life when I began attending Evergreen and it gave me a place to do my school work, keep my full time job and even offered counseling to get me through all the tough stuff.
