South Central High School
#2 Best Public High Schools in Huron County
- South Central Local School District, OH
- Rating 3.56 out of 5 32 reviews
Junior: South Central is a very small yet heartwarming community. In our school, there is no such thing as an outcast. Everyone knows everyone. Everyone feels like family. Our school may be small but we work hard. Our sports have always been successful in our district. Especially in basketball. But we know what is important, academics. Our teachers spend lots of one on one time with us. The teachers get to know each student as more than a student but as a person.

Willard Middle/High School
#3 Best Public High Schools in Huron County
- Willard City School District, OH
- Rating 3.42 out of 5 38 reviews
Senior: Willard City Schools is a great community that is able to help you out through your tough moments if you are willing to open up and talk to someone about it. Through out a project I was having a hard time but the teachers were a great support to me, they never gave up on me and I saw them as family. One thing I would change would be the students motivation and spirit because it’s us as teens who build the atmosphere in the school. The teachers try their very best to motivate the students. The students decide weather to lift up the spirit or not.

Western Reserve High School
- Western Reserve Local School District (Collins), OH
- Rating 3.48 out of 5 27 reviews
Senior: Western Reserve High School is a very good high school. The most enjoyable experience through WR that I had was being in their CCP program (College Credit Plus). It allowed me to have an extra start on life. Overall, the teachers I had were very engaging and easy to follow. The school is very supportive of many activities and sports however, the school does have a preference for what sports they like most. The one thing that I would like to change about the school is the connection between students. There are issues all across the nation about this topic. With WR being a small school, I believe that the students should have been more connected and overall produce a better atmosphere for learning. Now, this does not mean that the students aren't friendly, I just mean that it could be improved. Overall, the school was a well experience.
