Western High School

Senior: Western is an average high school. Most teachers are great at educating and impacting students. Over the years, there have been incidents of some Western students and teachers doing things that reflect poorly on the school; however, Western always bounces back. This school is a community that will support its students and faculty in times of need. The smaller size allows for a more intimate setting between classmates, teachers, and other faculty.

Alum: A great school full of college ready, eager learning students! The staff is very helpful and wanting the best for you child. Food and facilities could be updated and I know they are working on making that happen. What an honor it is to be a Comet.

Senior: I have attended Northwestern High School all 4 years of my high school career. Great academic school, very competitive and hard working classmates and students. Teachers are motivated to help students and teach them to be the best they can be. One change I would recommend is more support and participation in sports.

Sophomore: As a sophomore attending Taylor High School, I am eminently satisfied with the preservation of academic prestige and intellectual horsepower. The diversity among my peers directly impacts our performance, enabling us students to strive for success due to our contrasting backgrounds. But despite Taylor High School’s remarkable academic achievements, the corporation does not financially support the music department. In the upcoming years, I would appreciate financial assistance and recognition for the music department.

Alum: As a Kokomo High Alumni it is amazing looking back and remembering all of the opportunities I was given while in high school. I can easily say that this school KHS is, through all of the various clubs and sports, you were bound to find "your people." There is a huge amount of AP and dual credit courses that help to get a student college credit while they're in high school as well as challenge themself at the same time. The administration was very good at being active in the students lives and keeping them on the right track. This school definitely helped to shape me into the successful woman I am today.

Alum: The best school and best teachers. They help young and older people that struggle. So many advantages you can benefit from. Fridays are tutoring, college courses you can take for free and they help you transition to college. Thanks to The Excel Center, my dreams are coming true! They will help you, as long as you are helping yourself.
